Team GB's Jess Piasecki praises Dr John Rogers and OrthTeam Centre

Athlete Jess Piasecki, 31, competed in the Marathon event in Tokyo on Saturday. Long distance runner Jess is also a Senior Lecturer in Exercise Physiology at Nottingham Trent University. Originally from Stockport, she began running competitively with Stockport Harriers at U15 level after competing in cross-country events.

Our Sports and Exercise Medicine Consultant, Dr John Rogers, has treated Jess throughout her career and we're delighted that she has consistently chosen the OrthTeam Centre for her care:

"I have been lucky enough to know Dr John Rogers for a number of years now and he has continued to support my medical needs throughout my progression in long distance running. He has extensive expertise in sport and exercise medicine and his knowledge is pivotal in supporting myself as an athlete.

"Since founding the OrthTeam Centre, the care provided to myself and other athletes alike has been elevated, to have so many experts under one roof makes solving any problems much easier and less stressful. As an athlete getting to the route of a problem quickly and smoothly as possible is key to getting back on track, this is certainly what the OrthTeam Centre provides. I am very grateful to Dr Rogers and his team for the support over the years throughout my career and I hope to do them proud at the forthcoming Olympic Marathon!"
