Alongside our continued support for the NHS, we’re once again offering selected treatments to our private patients.
The COVID-19 pandemic means life has changed for us all and we’re aware that you may have some concerns about coming into the OrthTeam Centre. It’s okay to feel this way and, with this in mind, we’re pleased to say that we have implemented a series of safety measures to help protect our patients and colleagues from the potential risk of COVID-19.
A few key things we’re doing to help minimise the potential risk in our facility and help you feel safe include:
When you come into the OrthTeam Centre we want you to feel as relaxed as possible – every step of the way. To support this, we have introduced a ‘patient pathway’; this means you’ll have a clear journey to guide you through your visit.
Red pathway
Our pathway at the OrthTeam Centre is the red pathway. This is for patients who have not self-isolated or been tested for COVID-19 ahead of their appointment.
We’re confident that the pathway will help create a secure, protective environment so everyone feels more confident about coming into and working in our facility.
You can view our consultants to find a consultant that best matches your needs.
Where possible our experts will conduct initial consultations virtually so you don’t have to attend the OrthTeam Centre, but where it’s necessary face-to-face consultations can also be made available.
All patients are screened by telephone prior to attendance at the OrthTeam Centre to ensure that they are completely free of COVID-19 symptoms.
We ask that you wait in your car until your appointment time. Where possible, we would advise no relatives or friends to attend the OrthTeam Centre with you unless agreed ahead of time.
To keep everyone safe at the OrthTeam Centre, all our staff and consultants are screened, wear PPE and adhere to strict infection control measures.
On arrival you’ll be provided with a mask to wear throughout your visit. You will be asked to clean your hands with sanitiser gel.
Our facility has been specially adapted to ensure appropriate distancing. This includes clear signage and a one-way system throughout.
A 24/7 helpline is available to provide post-operative advice, whenever you need it.
